Two-component adsorption isotherm of CH4 and
CO2
Under a pressure of 0–15 MPa, the adsorption isotherm of a
two-component CH4/CO2 mixture (at a molar ratio of 1:1)
at 283.15 K is shown in Figure 3. The results showed that
the fits of the adsorption of CO2 and CH4 with the Langmuir
model were 98.9% and 20.7%, respectively, suggesting that
the latter was not consistent with the Langmuir model (Table
2). Under the same temperature and pressure, the amount of
CO2 adsorption was much larger than that of CH4, indicating
a significant competitive advantage, barring Busch et al.
