Synthesis of Pt-GO and Pt-MoS2 Hybrid Nanomaterials. After 2mL of
0.05 mg mL1 GO solution (or 0.1 mg mL1 MoS2 solution) was
centrifuged at 8500 rpm for 20 min, the supernatant was
removed and the precipitate was redispersed in 8 mL fresh
growth solution containing 0.2 mM K2PtCl4 and 0.3 mM trisodium
citrate in water. This mixed solution in a 10 mL glass vial
was then irradiated with a 150 W halogen lamp at 80% of its
full intensity for 2 h, during which the glass vial was cooled by
ice water to prevent the light-induced overheating. After the
reaction, the resulting solution was centrifuged at 7500 rpm for
15 min, and the precipitated Pt-GO or Pt-MoS2 hybrid nanomaterials
were redispersed in water before subsequent reactions.
