suggestions for your presentations
1. The content of your presentation--it is actually up to you. Since you have only 10-12 minutes to present and a few more minutes to answer questions about your project from the audience, you don't have to go over all the details but give the key ideas about your work such as the statement of problem (and that could work as your motivation to conduct this research), research questions, expected results, methodology (discuss your participants and how you recruited them and how you handled the data collection), findings.
2. Prepare 6-10 slides and each slide should not be longer than 6 lines and contains only the key points.
3. You can bring the scripts of your talk in case you forget some lines but don't lose eye contact with the audience.
4. Practice makes perfect and see how much time you might need in the actual presentation.
5. Send me a copy of your presentation slides the morning you will give a presentation. It takes longer to let each group to download their file before their presentation. I will download all the files you sent and make them ready when you step up to the stage.
6. Reserve a lot as soon as you can (I hope you can understand this!!) I need to know how many presentations and who the presenters are before we start each day. Remember that it makes no difference to be the first or the last. Everyone has to do it with October 10 or 11.
