Nowadays, polymer composites reinforced with natural fibers
attract attention both in industry and in academic research
because of several benefits they can gift if compared with composites
made of inorganic fillers [1,2]. This growing interest considers
their abundance, low cost, low density and also ecological advantages.
In particular, all the natural fibers are biodegradable, and
combine well with the use of biodegradable plastic materials
[3,4]. All these features have an overall positive effect concerning
the increase in the usage of renewable resources throughout the
life cycle of the composites.
