The calculation of the Service Fee stated above is based on the minimum daily wage rate under the applicable labor law and other costs and expenses relating to employment such as social security and workmen compensation costs, provident funds, etc. currently applicable at the time of the beginning of the Contract. Therefore, during the Contract period, if the government issues a new law to adjust the minimum daily wage or other relevant employment costs, the Employer agrees to allow the Contractor to increase the said fee equivalent to the aggregated amount. However, in such a case, the Contractor shall give the Employer written notice describing the reasons for the requested adjustment, and the adjusted fee shall be effective and enforceable on the effective date of the new minimum daily wage and/or the costs.
