allele frequencies for all populations and for each population are shown in Fig .2.The numer of M1 alleles in each population were:17 in Population 1, four in Population 2, eight in Population 3, 23 in Population 4,
six in the Guatemalan stock and 22 in the wild Ecuadorian female broodstock (Table 4).
The observed heterozygosity estimated for all populations combined was 98.1%. In each
population, me observed heterozygosity was larger than the expected and adjusted
expected percent heterozygosities.
