4. Concluding remarks
We have developed the ISN1OLF algorithm with rational approximations for the inverse standard normal first order loss
function. This ISN1OLF function approximation algorithm has a double precision accuracy within the full range of double
precision floating point numbers. As further research we see the inverse of the second order loss function and also the inverse
of the combined function (20). Within inventory optimizations these inverse functions are often used.
