As the oxygen reduction reaction is fairly sluggish and has long
been precluding the wide application of proton exchange membrane
fuel cells (PEM-FCs), a new opportunity recently arises that
adopts hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as an alternative oxidizer to
explore electrochemical energy-conversion frameworks of different
types due to its high mass density, strong oxidizing ability,
and the ease of handling and storage [1–3].
