I do not fully understand the question you are posing. The newest version of Opera is targeted to be certified in November (it is currently being tested). This version requires all workstations that connect to it to be on Windows 7.
The version that is currently available was to be installed (the one you have scheduled for November 23rd) by the end of September 2015. This version will still work with XP even though XP needs to be upgraded.
The version you are currently running has no level 3 support from Oracle.
• How many XP workstations do you have connecting to Opera?
• When will you have the XP workstations that connect to Opera upgraded/replaced with Windows 7?
The answer to the above questions would determine your approach.
