Here is the AWC data for LAST YEAR (2014) still not submitted since it was in a real mess. I have sorted it out as best I can; still some dates missing, names of counters missing, or latitude and longitudes missing in some cases. I have ordered the sites by region, and within each regiopn, roughtly north to south so as to make it easier for Wetlands International to interorest
In order to simplify the data, and make it easier to understand, I have used both Thai names and English names for both sites and for counters.
While, for the purposes of counting, it makes sense to subdivide sites, for the purposes of presentation it is better to group them. So in the case of both Kaeng Lawa, and Ao Pattani, I have grouped, I think, four different sites as one. In the case of Laem Phak Bia, I have grouped about eight different sites as one.
The summarised data is presented in the worksheet marked "Summary" I suggest you copy ONLY this SUMMARY worksheet and send to AWC. (But keep the original file with both worksheets for reference. If you look at the first Worksheet, see how I have laid it out and use similar format for 2015 data.)
I assume it is you who are taking responsibility for submitting AWC data. In past years, BCST has had a terrible record in how it stores data for reference. Please ensure that henceforth all data is kept and filed as hard copies, by site and by year, in an orderly fashion so we can keep it for reference. It is very important to maintain printed copies of all data as well as it being on computer.
SO TO CONCLUDE: PLEASE SEND THE WORKSHEET LABELLED SUMMARY to Tom Langendoen at Wetlands International. His email is
PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS CLEARLY MARKED "2014".
IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING, PLEASE PHONE ME TO ASK.
