1. Open Document to be Translated
- Open the document you would like to translate by going to FILE in the main menu and selecting OPEN. Navigate to your saved document and select OPEN.

2. Set Preferences for Translation
- Open your Formatter Settings by going to TIGER in the main menu and selecting FOR- MATTER SETTINGS. Inside the dialog box, select a Tiger Profile or select the language, braille and ink settings, and document set- tings your prefer individually.
- Once you have finished selecting your set- tings choose OK.

3. Apply Tiger Layout
- The Apply Tiger Layout feature will give you a preview of how your document will look once it is translated and will allow you to make any necessary changes before your document is translated.
- This is helpful because once your document has been translated, it is more difficult to make changes.

4. Translate Document
- Translating your document can be done in one of several ways. First, you can go to TIGER
in the main menu and select TRANSLATE DOCUMENT.
- Second, you can choose to only translate a portion of your document. To do this select the text you would like to translate then go to TIGER in the main menu and select TRANS- LATE SELECTION.
- Lastly, you can translate your document by using the quick emboss feature. To use quick emboss go to TIGER in the main menu and select QUICK EMBOSS.
- Note: This feature will not only translate your document, but will also send it to the printer specified in your Formatter Settings.
