Here we describe only three regions of Kazakhstan as they are the main attraction for travellers. All three of them lay on the southern border of the country bordering magestic Tien-Shan mountains and once were a scene of medieval civilisations that remain until our days in masoleums, minarets and ruins of Asia's greatest cities.
Almaty -
Mountainous region with combined stepp-mountain relief and a number of monuments of the Russian and Soviet periods located in the ex-capital Almaty.
Jambyl -
Mostly flat territory was a scene of medieval battles. There is a number of beutiful mausoleums in the area of Taraz.
Shymkent
(South-Kazakhstan) -
An accumulation of the ruins of vedieval cities, masoleums and ofcourse second mekkah of moselims Turkestan.
