No. The Grand Canyon is a natural geological phenomena not related to the flood. It was already in existence when the flood occurred.
Personally I think the flood would be considered more of a regional event based on our knowledge of the world today. Back when the flood occurred and was recorded, up through recent history I guess, much of the known world for those of that region was probably limited to most of modern Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East on through the Caucuses.
I remember a documentary that theorized that the Biblical flood was something if a major localized geological event where an isthmus broke open and flooded a large valley below.
That is my every uneducated opinion. In any case it does not invalidate the story or the message it conveys.
