Procedures and data analysis The data was collected in June (during the summer semester); 2012.According to Gerald Kelly “There are no standard songs for teaching pronunciation. Any song can be an example of different pronunciation aspects.” Therefore, it chose a song that is clear, slow, not too fast, memorable, (they can memorize it easily). Then they became familiar with the sounds of the music, because they would be more likely to understand the words. Therefore they had a vocabulary list and the exemplification of the words and phrases in selective sentences (Unknown vocabulary). To clarifies the words meaning, it was synonyms, antonyms or short phrases.

Finally, they had the song‟s text and the separated vocabulary to the students. For each group (15 each), they had a pre- test (one by one they pronounced each words while recording their voices). The song was practiced with one group about 15 minutes on practicing the words and singing the song. During the 15 minutes, it identified some factors such as; motivation, the student‟s behavior showed their interest in singing the song, relaxation and self-confidence .This treatment was held in 8 sessions. After that they had a posttest (students sang the song together and their voice recorded). And they also had a pronunciation test consist of 10 items to be used as a pre-test and post-test for groups. The data collected as specified down was analyzed through SPSS software to see whether or not the students‟ pronunciation has been developed along with using English song in their class. The data were illustrated through charts and figures.
