The animals were sacrificed by cervical dislocation on the 61st day of the experiment and blood samples were collected
via ocular puncture with the aid of a capillary tube into EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) bottles and heparinised bottles for haematological and blood chemistry analysis, respectively.
The kidney and liver were carefully isolated for histopathological examination and the epididymis was immediately removed for sperm quality analysis.
