Brake discs are attached to the wheels with thru-bolts capscrews, and are an integral part of the wheel. The nose gear is a combination of conventional air/oi (oleo) strut and fork, dampen er. The nose wheel is steerable with the rudder ped- als up to a maximum pedal deflection, after which it becomes free-swiveling up to a maximum travel of 30 degrees each side of center. Through use of the brakes, the aircraft can be pivoted about the outer strut fitting, Nose and main wheel speed fair ings are available for installation.
