our experiment, fish skin colour parameters, such
as the hue (Hab) value, varied with diets. Fish fed
the FS diet had higher hue values than the control
and SP diets. In addition, FS20 had higher hue
values in each group. This may indicate that the
carotenoid uptake or transportation to the tissue
was saturated due to the FS diet inclusion levels in
flowerhorn fish. Our study showed that chroma
(Cab) increased over time as fish consumed
pigmented diets. It was higher in fish fed the FS
diet than in the control and SP diets. In particular,
fish fed the FS30 diet had higher chroma values
