TBI is suitable for all ages andbackgrounds,especially young learners. Allchildren have learned their L1 in acontextualized setting, learning grammarand structure inductively. Their focus is onmeaning, not form. A special considerationfor these learners is that their language skillsare still developing and teachers must becareful to create appropriate tasks for theirlevel (Bourke, 2006).TBI are thatit can be used to teach content as well aslanguage, can be combined with moretraditional teaching methods, can providemotivation due to tasks being relevant andimmediate, and can be a useful method forstudents who don‟t do well in moretraditional types of classroom learning orwhere teachers have little autonomy overtheir lesson planning (Krahnke, 1987).
