The method, which first involves the use of mesoporous
molecular sieve SBA-15, provides good precision, satisfactory
recovery, and low detection limits. Compared with traditional
MSPD techniques, the proposed method exhibits excellent advantages
of small samples and sorbent amounts, low consumption of
elution solvent and high extraction efficiency. The workup is easy,
a cleanup procedure is avoided and the cost is low, which meets
the principles of Green Chemistry. Overall, trace MSPD appears to
be a reliable and efficient technique for the screening of targeted
compounds in different types of fruit peel samples.
