With members distributed across Canada, including one
member in Europe, the Skills Team is distributed not only by
distance, but also by time zones. Interaction can routinely
involve members with each in a different location, spanning
time zones of four or more hours. The work that is undertaken
by team members is interdependent, requiring materials to be
completed by one individual in advance of handing off to
another, while at the same time collaboration on joint efforts is
not unusual.
