Krabi islands
Krabi Islands tour from the beautiful province of Krabi is quickly becoming one of the most visited areas of Thailand. Located in the south, Krabi Islands are famed for its limestone formations, calm crystal seas and powdery beaches.
Tup Island also known as Tub Island, Koh Tap or Koh Thap is one of the most popular offshore islands around Krabi for day trips and tours. Most island hopping tours come here to witness and photograph the amazing parting of the seas.
Kai lsland or Chicken Island (Koh Kai) The rock shaped like a rooster on the limestone mountain at Kai Island is the symbol of Krabi sea. Apart from the beauty on the land, Kai Island also has plenty of coral reefs to appreciate in the west of the island.
Poda Island is a small island no more than a kilometer in diameter, fringed by clear clean waters, a white sandy beach and coral reefs and is a top spot for day trips from the nearby Ao Nang, Phra Nang and the Railay Beaches. As Poda Island is one of Krabi’s main tourist attractions; it can get somewhat busy.
Pranang Cave On the edge of Phra Nang Beach in the Krabi Province of Thailand, a cave has been dedicated to a princess goddess named Phra Nang. According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. She lived out the rest of her days in the cave, awaiting her husband’s return.
