An increasing mixture of varieties in a field seemed to negatively influence the development of CAD, while anthracnose seemed to be more related to sandy soils, but negatively correlated to a high number of trees in the surroundings. Profusely branching varieties were positively correlated to white and BLSs, but negatively to CAD. The observed correlations of CBB and CAD with the agronomic, climatic and soil factors underline the results of the regression analysis.
