Dear Khun Kanika,
We are pleased to inform you that World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with Thai FDA, will conduct a workshop mentioned in the subject on 16 October 2015 at the Amari Watergate, Bangkok.
The main objectives of the proposed activity is to achieve understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturers to principles and requirements of the WHO Prequalification of Medicines Programme in order to stimulate their interest to participate in the Programme, work towards improvement of quality of locally produced medicines and submit applications for prequalification of antimalarials to WHO.
This workshop will be interactive with presentations and an opportunity for manufacturers to interact individually with WHO Prequalification Team (PQT) to get clarification or/and raise any issues related to their products. The Provisional Programme is attached for your information. The workshop will be conducted in English
In this regards, we would like to invite representative from your company to attend the mentioned workshop. The representative would be a production manager (QA person) or regulatory affairs person who responsible for;
- Malaria drugs
- TB drugs
- Reproductive Pharmaceutical
- Antiviral Pharmaceutical
WHO will provide lunch and coffee/tea breaks will be provided for the duration of the workshop. We hope that their travel cost will be borne by your organization
