For all station areas, the density, the mixed-use index (=diver- sity), and the intermodal connectivity (=bus) achieved identical significance levels of 0.01. The result of the model indicates that the standardized coefficient of ‘bus’ was the largest and that of ‘density’ was larger than that of ‘diversity’. Although all TOD variables unexceptionally affected the ridership of the SMS at the 1% level of statistical significance, the R-square was less than 0.4.
