The primary objective of the study is to examine how different morphologies
(channel, sidewall and interfluve) within a gully system behave
in response to precipitation-driven erosion in a hillslope-scale
environment in a humid subtropical climate. The secondary objective
is to identify an appropriate temporal scale of measurement to examine
precipitation-related erosion in humid subtropical climates. The results
of this study will contribute to a better understanding of drivers for gully
erosion in similar soils, landscapes, and climatic conditions.
