According to the agreement, Sunbeam was to package AMA medical information in its Health at Home product line of blood-pressure monitors, humidifiers, vaporizers, heating pads, and home air cleaners and to include the AMA seal on the package. The Sunbeam product line would be featured in the AMA consumer catalog and on its Web site. and a Physicians Advisor Panel was to help Sunbeam develop future products. The professional association and the corporation would also jointly sponsor blood-pressure screenings in cooperation with local retailers. Reportedly, the AMA would have received large royalties from Sunbeam. to use for research and public-health and education campaigns.
