In the reduction concept, this inventory is “seen from the top”. The inventory “100” is grasped from the top, and efforts are made to reduce it by half. When the target “50” is achieved after many improvements, they may feel “finally 50”. There is naturally no energy any more to achieve “25 (= half of 50)” or “13 (= half of 25)”. And conventional methods and characteristics remain unchanged.
