Dear Khun Tadthep,
Thank you very much for your kind attention.
Please accept my apology for unable to make a reply timely due to I was in mission to provincial during last week.
I’ve just conveyed our HR’s opinion and they are interesting to encourage our colleagues here to attend ANZIIF course. However, they may not capable to make it this year obviously but maybe 2017 onward in the plan for capacity building of the company. For my case, I personally intend to apply for the course with my own expense so my company does not aware about this until today that I discussed with them. However, if there is any update on this issue from my company I will absolutely let you know or advise them to contact you directly.
For my network, I’ll spread this news to them provides that someone may interest to attend. Just for your information, so far Laos has almost 20 insurance companies registered just within 2-3 years ago. Now only 6-7 companies in operation and the rest are preparing for AEC which is this year. As a result, human resource from this area will be the need of market but local employee with preferred qualification is still limited. I think ANZIIF Thailand can expect to see more candidates in the near future from Laos since we’re in the period of opening insurance market. For the time being, we regularly outsource insurance specialist from Thailand (e.g. Cunningham & Lindsey or Crawford for loss adjuster, etc). If I have any feedback I’ll also let you know.
Thank you very much for your assistance,
Best Regards,
