seen, with the exception of [OMIM][PF6] which acts opposite (extracts
methyl acetate), the addition of IL increases the separation
factor, but it is only [BMPYR][DCA] which is capable of breaking
the azeotropic behavior at such low contents as x3 = 0.05. The minimum
IL contents needed at 327.31 K for breaking the azeotropic
behavior of methyl acetate + methanol as inferred from the NRTL
(eNRTL) model calculations are given for the five ILs in Table 13.
