"Like what?"said Richard.
"Well, what about one of your horses? I th ink I'll take that
nice black and white one home."
"Golden? You can't ! We'll call the police!" said Fletcher.
"Well, if you do, it might be the last lime you see him."
And so Richard, Pizza, and Fletcher watched as two
of Scully's men pulled Golden into the back of a white van.
Golden kicked them as hard as he cou ld.
"Go on , boy! Get them!" shouted Fletcher.
As Golden was finally driven away in the back of the van,
another of Scully's drivers parked a truck in front of the stable
gate. It meant thatRichard's carriages couldn't leavethe stables.
