Sawasdeekrub. I am sixth year medical student from Prince of Songkhla University, which is located in the southern part of Thailand. My interest in medicine had started out with an enjoyment in biology class. After the loss of my beloved grandfather, my family motivated me to enter a field where I can help other people, the medical field. For six years I have been studying in medical field, I am interested in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because it is a broad field which involves both medical and surgical care for women's health.
This is my first time in Taiwan and I have spent two weeks in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Taipei Medical University Hospital. TMU really gave me the chance to enhance my knowledge, improve my skills, gain new experience, meet new people, and make new friends.
Living in Taiwan is very comfortable for me because Taiwanese and Thai foods, cultures, tradition and weather are lots alike. In my two weeks in Taiwan, I had the chance to visit many beautiful places like Taipei 101, Taroko National Park, Shilin Night, Love River etc. ,thanks to an awesome transportation system which is cheap, convenient, and reliable.
I am very proud to be an international student at TMU which is one of the top 100 medical universities in the world eventhough I am here for such a short period of time. Thank you TMU, thank you Taiwan. Xie-xie
