Freezing of epididymal spermatozoa using three different
extenders have been also reported. Thawed sperm
motility was better using lactose egg-yolk, than Tris, and
citrate–glucose (18.2, 11.3 and 6.9%, respectively). In addition,
the acrosome integrity was 83.4% when sperm was
frozen into Tris, 80% for lactose egg-yolk, and 79% for
citrate–glucose extender (Morton et al., 2007).
