Amphibians: Frogs of the genera Hyla, Leptodactylus, Lysapsus, Physalaemus and
Scinax are the most representatives (Hylidae, Leptodactylidae and Pseudidae).
These dominate the wetland, and together with the invertebrates, for example
crustaceans and gastropods, they are the basis of the food of many birds and reptiles
in the lake. It is estimated that the diversity of amphibians at the site is no fewer than
20 species.
