Pseudopyronines A and B inhibited the
growth of Gram-positive bacteria, including Bacillus subtilis,
methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Moraxella catarrhalis
and Enterococcus faecium (MIC 1e64 mg/mL) with pseudopyronine
B being the more active of the two compounds.
