Construction waste must be disposed of in an appropriate manner. There shall be no dumping of garbage, waste, construction debris, motor oils, etc., on the site or on the adjoining vegetated areas.
No waste, debris, toxic materials, oil grease etc, shall be spilled and or buried no/in the ground, or discharged into any watercourse, whether on or off the site. These wastes shall be stored in drums/containers and taken away by recycling dealers or disposed of in the approved manner.
The transportation and disposal of all waste will be strictly managed.
The transport and collection of construction waste will be carried out on a regular basis.
Each construction site will be provided with adequate garbage storage areas.
Construction debris such as waste wood, hardened waste, concrete, etc., shall be removed off site to the designated area for disposal.
The necessary facilities such as proper storage containers or bins for refuse and kitchen wastes shall be provided at the facilities/premises.
Household/Domestic garbage shall be collected, separate from other construction wastes and disposed off site regularly by waste sub ITD.
The ITD shall remove rubbish, crates, wrappings, surplus materials, etc., from the site as soon as is possible, including;
a) Removal at frequent intervals during the works (at least once a day) and,
b) Keeping the whole of the site including all floors of the building clean and tidy during the progress of the works so as to maintain unhindered access to, and easy inspection of, all works.
A final site clearance will be carried out prior to hand-over of construction work sites to the company.
