Ian Lings is Associate Professor in the School of Advertising, Marketing and PR at the
Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He graduated from Nottingham Trent (UK)
with a first in Applied Chemistry and, after working for Shell for several years, completed first an MBA and later a PhD at Aston University (UK). His research interests include service strategies, and the application of social and behavioural psychology to service delivery and consumption. Associate Professor Lings serves on several editorial boards and review panels and his work is published in a variety of journals including the Journal of Business Research,Journal of Service Research and Journal of Services Marketing.
