A step-up inclusion strategy by feeding phase is recommended for weaned pigs to allow them to progressively adapt to the flavour and fibre content of diets containing DDGS (Figure 2). The inclusion of DDGS should not exceed 5 per cent for the first week post-weaning. Dietary inclusion levels can progressively increase thereafter (e.g. 10 % the second week and 20 % the third week post-weaning).
