1 Training and Development
1.1 An annual needs assessment is completed.
1.2 A training plan, calendar, and schedule is established in January or April each
year and adhered to for the property. This training plan is submitted to
the general manager for review and approval prior to the end of calendar year
of each year. The executive committee/DH team supports the plan and ensures
departments commit to sending employees to the programs.
1.3 Training is logged.
1.4 There is an established cross training plan in place on porperty,
including an LSOP that all employees are aware of.
1.5 The Food Handling and Safety Training and Certification has been
completed for all the kitchen employees. A certificate copy is in the
employee's file.
1.6 There is a program or plan in place to assist employees with diversity
and cross cultural training and sensitivity.
