Early Childhood Longitudinal Studies–Birth Cohort
The ECLS-B is a longitudinal study supported by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), within the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of the ECLS-B is to provide researchers information about children’s development, along with variables that might influence prekindergarteners’ development, especially as they relate to school readiness. In our article, we report a secondary analysis of the ECLS-B national study of children born in 2001.
