In the previous scene, you learned that Christopher collects a lot of information about a lot of people. Christopher may be surprised to find out that practically all of this information is "personal data" protected by privacy laws and governed by Policy 90.
Personal data is any information related to an identifiable individual. It includes a person's:
name,
personal and business contact information,
contents of his or her personnel file,
medical information,
even a photograph, image or voice recording.
Personal data also includes recorded opinions and appraisals that relate to the individual, such as performance feedback or credit reports.
Even if information is acquired from a public source such as a phone book or website, it is still considered to be personal data, which is protected under data privacy laws.
