Good linear correlations were found (r
240.98). The instrumental
sensitivity was calculated as three times the standard deviation of
the chromatographic noise from injecting blank solutions, being
the minimum detectable amount values from 0.9 (dimethyl disulfide)
to 180 ng L1 (hydrogen sulfide). Quantification limit was
calculated as ten times the standard deviation of the chromatographic
noise from injecting blank solutions. The values, ranged
from 3 (dimethyl disulfide) to 364 ng L1 (hydrogen sulfide). Reproducibility,
expressed as relative standard deviation (five replicates),
was lower than 6%. In conclusion, the analytical performances
were adequate for the analysis of organic solutions containing
RSC at trace levels.
