Fig. 4 to 6 show the average monthly electric production
and contribution from each of the two components of the
hybrid system. The following behaviour can be observed:
- From December to April: Because of the availability of
the water resource as presented in fig. 1, the hydro system
component is used as principal source to supply the load
during the whole day. The contribution of the Diesel
Generator is very low and used to meet the peak demands
during the day from 5am to 6am, from 12am to 1pm (just
for April,) from 5pm to 7pm; and then it is switched-off
for the rest remaining time.
- From May to July: Both components are on for the
day. The output of the diesel generator is important only
during peak power demand times and then it is switchedoff
