Linkable planning and control systems become required as soon as cooperation increases in intensity. The demands again do not differ from those of purely internal company supply chains. In both cases, human beings must first of all work well together. Where there is computer support, logistics software must also be able to be linked and integrated — something that is also not always easy within one and the same company.
