The supernatant from each
washing step was collected and analyzed by PCR to monitor the
potential presence of non-binding C. jejuni. When using mAb1-coated beads, the signal was reduced gradually with an increase of
washing steps and turned to negative after the 5th washing step
(Fig. 2), indicating that there was no non-binding bacteria in the
