This phase of the “Waterfall Model” is virtually a
never-ending phase. Generally, problems with the system that
has been developed, which are not found during the
development life cycle will surface only after the System is
deployed and utilized. As such, these issues can only be
identified and resolved after the system has been deployed.
Again, not all the problems will surface immediately upon
implementation, but they arise from time to time and will need
to be solved there and then maintenance is an essential part of
this process.
