Mercury orbits only 58 million kilometers from the Sun, which makes it the hottest planet. Ti n, gold, iron, and most would mere and flow like river on Mercury's surface. But Mercury revolves very slowly and during the long nights it becomes much cooleer. Perhaps we could operate mobile mining stations to follow the night and mine the important minerals We would have to make out own air because Mercury does not appear to have any free floating oxygen gas. However, we could easily operate all of out factories there by using heat energy from the nearby Sun.
