Hi. Bienvenido a mi perfíl. Me llamo Bradford. Soy de EE.UU.. Llevo dos años aprendiendo Español. Creo que Español es un idioma muy interesante. Si te gustaría hablar español conmigo, no tengas miedo a mandarme un mensaje.
Hello. Nice to meet you. I am Bradford, I am from the United States.
If I can sum my personality up in one word, here it is: Collector.
If you'll let me use another word to describe the second part of me, then I'll tell you: Idler.
I like to straddle by in life, whistle a tune in my head, imagine myself somewhere else. I waste a lot of time, but at least I have fun!
I'm very empathetic, and sensitive. Don't mistake that for low confidence! It only means I don't like to joke at the expense of others (usually), only on rare occasions on accident.
I like to play the harmonica when I'm waiting for the bus.
I like to sing as well (but I don't sing very well).
I like to run from place to place because it saves me time to sit down and relax, but I also like to take life slowly and not be in a rush about everything.
I like to play creative games that require me to pretend, table top games appeal to me in this way. I also have my own imaginary world that I made up if you want to talk about that too.
I like to collect things like coins and music boxes. I collect coins for their beautiful designs, particularly US coins. I like the beauty of the older depictions of lady liberty on our older currency pre 1920s. I can show you my collection if you want to see it one day.
I also like music boxes and sometimes will wind them up to hear their delicate sound as the pins strike the thin metal bars.
I'm a fan of music (as most people are), my tastes include classical and early music of Europe, folk traditional songs of Europe (like the Korobushka and also Greensleeves), Chinese Pipa Music and other traditional instruments, vocaloid (a computerized voice created from an actual vocal recording that is capable of replicating audible lyrics and melody), Japanese enka music, Ragtime etc.
I am currently studying to obtain a bachelors degree in college to be able to teach abroad. My favorite subject has been my language courses (Spanish and Chinese). Feel free to use either language to address me. I am still a beginner with them though.
I'm not sure if you and I will have much in common! But if you like any of these things feel free to send me a message, if not, don't bother, unless you're willing to listen to me talk about my interests.
Requests
I'm looking for friends all over the world, so no matter what country you are from, if you want you can contact me, I'm a little shy so if I don't leave a message, don't think it's because I don't wanna talk.
If you want to know about my country's history or my state's history, Minnesota, I'll be happy to discuss it with you.
Also, I will help you with English, let's just become friends first.
I'm fine with volunteering to help people learn English if it is in real life, it's just that over the internet it feels really indirect if I get requests that are from strangers. Especially when I have nothing else in common with them. ==
Anyway, I'm also looking for friends to discuss music with. You can share with me whatever music you like, but don't be surprised if I stop messaging you when we have little in common. That's just how friendships work!
