There are many ways to interpret the artwork of Judy Pfaff because of all the elements she uses to create her installations. When Judy Pfaff first started out, her installations were vibrant and full of color and shape that moved the eye around the entire room of the installation. Judy Pfaff’s installation that she created in 1987 (SITE – the artwork), “N.Y.C – B.Q.E,” uses a strong use of color and dimension that has the quality of an I Spy children’s book.
