A total of 213 persons from Roskilde, a town near the
Danish capital Copenhagen, and a total of 162 persons
from Holstebro, a provincial town in north-western Jutland,
participated in the test. It was aimed to have a balanced
distribution with respect to gender and age (18–30
years, 31–50 years and 51–60 years) and to have a representation
of both urban (Roskilde) and more rural (Holstebro)
consumers in the test.
