This kind of food originated in china and is perhaps the
Chinese version of doughunts. Wheat flour, rising agent, water, cinnamon and salt are mixed, kneaded and left to rise for several hours. Then the dough is rolled out cut into long twin strips and deep fried till expanded and golden. Pa-tong-koh is very delicious to eat when it is still hot and crispy. One or two Pa-tong-kohs with a cup of coffee can be a filling breakfast for the local people.
